Easiest Key Lime Pie Ever!

I love key lime pie, but recipes that are long and difficult have always kept me from making it. A friend passed on this amazing recipe, and I love it! So easy, with so few ingredients that I can make it on a whim.

Key Lime Pie

2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup lime juice

Mix together and bake at 350 in graham cracker crust for 8-10 minutes,
or until little bubbles appear on the surface. (they're kinda hard to
see, but they do come). I always have to bake it for the full 10 mins.

The recipe also says that if you have fresh limes, you can add a
tablespoon of grated lime zest to it as well. I didn't, but I'm sure
it'd be good.

Chill and serve with whip topping.

The Bottom of the Canyon

I was so inspired by this moment in the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

4th of July

Have you ever paused and wondered why we call Independence Day the 4th of July? I mean, we don't call Christmas December 25th. I am grateful, whatever we call it, for that day in history and a day off of work to celebrate. And what July 4th is complete without fireworks?

Painting the Laundry Room

I decided that it was finally time to tackle painting a room in my house. I've lived here 3/4ths of a year and I still have boxes to unpack. I can't decide if it's because I'm too busy, or if it's just not high enough on my priority list. Anyways, back to the painting. I'm a big fan of color but a little leery of color on my walls. So I chose a light buttercream yellow to lighten this small room and I love the outcome!

The first picture is the painting in progress... something which I am completely familiar with but really do not enjoy. The old paint was nice- but grey and didn't help the space at all.

Ta-daa! Painted and organized. The cleanest room in my house currently, to tell you the truth. Now to tackle other rooms. :o
